Presentation Evening 2008/09 14 of the the leagues 22 teams were in attendance for the annual end of season presentation and handicap table quiz - successful finally arrived for the Milnrow Cricket Club, winning 2 games all season they beat the 13 other teams to take the shield and winners honours for winning the quiz on the night. | To end the season i would like to personally thank a few individuals and pubs who have helped the league throughout the year Simon Chilton(The Roebuck) - Kindly taking the role of QM at the Cup Final Pete Smith(Merry Monk A) - Kindly taking the role of QM at the Plate Final Blue Pits - For hosting the Cup Final Merry Monk - For hosting the Plate Final Woolworths SSC - For hosting the League's AGM and the Pairs event Sudden Social Club - For hosting the end of year presentation evening To the teams/individuals who during the last 2-3 months of the season, who sent me wishes/cards, good will and offers of support through my ill health. If i have forgotten anyone else who needs thanking - sorry to forget, but thanks!! The League will return for it's 25th Anniversary year in September 2009 - i will be in touch with the teams sometime last August early September.
